The left frequently complains that the right is silly, paranoid and or extreme in their responses to President Obama's questionable behavior.  What they are conveniently ignoring is the importance of context.  It is the steady diet of disturbing incidents that finally has this citizen crying foul.

This is a man who surrounds himself with people that are on the fringes of the left-his pastor, chief of staff, his closest friends and associates.  Now he is filling the White House with people that are not representative of our populace or even the Democratic party.  Many of his "czars" (a disturbing word choice) are very radical in their thinking-anti-establishment, anti-white, anti-business, anti-organized religion, anti-rural, anti-military and really anti-American.  Actually, he is anti-anyone who disagrees with his world view.  So much for bipartisanship, unity and coming together.

 

It would be foolish to disregard a steady pattern of half-truths, executive overreaching, questionable associations and aggressive attempts to revamp every aspect of our government.  The degree of damage he has already done and threatens to do is overwhelming-from Guantanamo Bay , to the CIA, to meetings with tyrants in foreign lands, to education, healthcare, how we count the census, the car industry, the banking industry, the fairness doctrine, the energy industry, there is no major area of modern life left unscathed.  Even if these areas needed attention they didn't all need to be turned on their heads at the same time.  Nor is it prudent to undertake such important changes with little or no discussion, analysis, chance for public scrutiny or involvement.  He is frighteningly grandiose in his efforts to undo our entire way of being when all we wanted was a tune-up. 

 

So yes, some of us are starting to get a little concerned and starting to push back and say "wait just a minute".  What is the big rush? and just what exactly are you doing?  Your numbers don't add up and what you say in your speeches is not supported by your counterparts in their speeches, so whose version is it going to be?  And when has the government ever followed through on it's budgetary projections or it's stated goals?  Social Security was never intended to take care of the disabled and people weren't supposed to live past 70.  And all those pesky seniors living longer than expected has also messed up your Medicare budget.  Projecting healthcare costs is going to be like predicting the next new fad in children's toys.  Who knows?  There are so many different variables it is beyond even the most gifted actuaries statistical models.  The rest of us underlings stop spending when we run out of cash but not this administration.  They pull out another charge card!

 

Yet we are all to believe these lofty one liners that Obama so lovingly leaves lingering in the air for all to ingest.  These powerful promises that are nothing more than childlike wishes.  In essence saying we have all won the jackpot-unlimited, loving, lifelong, excellent healthcare, with no real costs!  Does he really think we are that entranced by his oratorical skills that we have gone into a collective trance-blindly nodding our heads to whatever edicts he issues from his pearly mansion on high?

 

This is an unusual time in our history.  Never have we had the perfect storm that we have now-a charismatic and narcissistic leader, with money and the media behind him and a radical agenda.  The right is protesting because the left has been duped by a force that is dangerous even to them.  Someone needs to cry foul-go Representative Wilson! and seek to slow down the train wreck we are headed for.

 

So please wake up America and remember your world history.  Good things have not happened when countries or nations have had leaders like Obama-men that take themselves too seriously, have no sense of real life, no strong internal moral compass and no longer care what you think, but only about their own power and place in history.  Do not inappropriately attribute positive characteristics to a man who is only  kind, inclusive and compassionate to get what he wants.  Remember what he has done to his supposed friends when they have gotten in the way.  If Hollywood, Hugo Chavez, France and the media love him red flags should be going up. 

 

Don't believe what he says, believe what he does.  Remember by their fruits ye shall know them!  Maybe talk radio is not that out there after all.

Dear President Obama:

 

I want a President that does 3 main things: 1) allows the economy to grow with minimal federal interference, 2) manages foreign affairs-promoting democracy worldwide and keeping our country safe, and 3) preserves our freedoms-to worship, speak, bear arms, and vote.

 

I don't want you in my kitchen, my family room, my bedroom or anywhere in my home, period.  I also don't want you in my doctor's office, my kids schools or babbling on the airwaves every time I turn around.

 

I want you in your house- the White House (which according to Andrew Jackson) is the people's house.  You do your job and I'll do mine and we will get along just fine. 

 

But if you leave your area then things get out of balance.  I can't do your job and you shouldn't do mine. 

 

So to use a basketball analogy, which will hopefully speak to you, you cover your zone and I'll cover mine and we'll be victorious.

 

P.S.  You can give us all a wonderful gift by cutting back on the never-ending speeches.  Firstly, we can't really believe what you say and saying it more often and in different venues, or even changing the "phraseology" doesn't alter the fact that you are not completely honest.  Secondly, you are getting over exposed and I am starting to feel like a little child to whom you are being condescending and controlling.  I stopped listening a long time ago.  It is all "blah blah blah blah blah" to me now. 

 

So while you may find yourself fascinating (as only a true narcissist would) the rest of us are getting embarassed for you.  You are like the annoying kid in class we all want to just sit down and shut up.
